Aux is an audio player app for iOS that works with Audio Station running on your Synology NAS to stream your music collection from your private cloud.

Offline audio player

Aux can download audio to play your music on the go without an internet connection.

Lossless and high-resolution audio

Aux plays any audio file compatible with iOS, including lossless and high-resolution audio formats from 16-bit / 44.1 kHz to 24-bit / 384 kHz and beyond — only limited by your DAC.

Security & Privacy

Aux is a fast, ad-free, and feature-rich app.

Aux connects directly to your NAS. Since Aux uses no servers of its own, your username, password, and all other data are exchanged securely and directly with your NAS.

If you've chosen not to expose your NAS directly to the internet, Aux also works over your home network or with Synology's own QuickConnect service to relay the connection through Synology's secure servers.
